Reflector used by Traffic Lines, Inc.

Raised Pavement Markers: Raised pavement markers have an iron casting with an attached replaceable lense capable of reflecting light. The casting is shaped in such a way that the blades of a snow plow can not upheave the marker. The lense can reflect light in a single direction or in opposite directions, depending on what the traffic situation calls for. The raised pavement markers are durable, impact resistant, snowplowable, and retroreflective.

I. Surface preparation:

1. All surfaces must be dry and free of any loose debris. This will allow for a better bond and a longer lasting line.

2. It is recommended that a new asphalt roadway not have reflectors installed until all construction is complete and the roadway has at least 7 days of traffic flow.
